Do college football coaches do anything else?

Besides coach the fooball team and everthing that goes with it , do college football coaches such as Pete Carroll and Rich Rodriguez do anything else with the university?

Often times they donate funds (JoePa almost completely funded PSU’s campus library, which was a multi-Million Dollar project), appear at funraisers, and (especially in the cases of high-profile coaches like Carroll & Rich Rod) their mere presence at the university, impact on it’s football program, and the amount of TV time it gets the university translates into hundreds of millions of dollars a year.

Basically, they make alot of freaking money for the universities, and for this they are paid alot of freaking money in return (and occasionally they donate some of it to “centers for children who can’t read good and want to learn to do other stuff good too”).
