Paramedic course while in college?
I am a high school senior that is completing an EMT-B course. I want to take a course to become an EMT-P, starting next year, when I am a freshman at Grand Rapids Community College. Will it be too hard doing both?
in the knowledge i have, yes it will probably be hard to do both… in the paramedic course besides all of the studing, you will also have to do clinicals.. this will take up alot of your time.. one of the instructers told me that he always tells his paramedic class to look to their left and look to their right, one of these people will not make it to the end of class..
which holds about true.. usually out of a class of 25 there is only 5-6 that make it all of the way through..
so i would not advise doing them together… i would also advise working as an emt before you start paramedic school, that way you can learn before you start…
