I live in NY, and I really want to move to salt lake city. .?

I live in NY, I would love to move to salt lake city utah. But how does one make a move across the country, would you rent an apartment and then look for a job or vise versa? Im a single adult who just graduated college and I find this pretty difficult to do by myself and im 23.

Salt Lake is a large enough area that finding an apartment and a job could be relatively easy but it all depends are what you are looking for. There are apartments opening up all the time with the fluctuation of students in and out of the Universities and Community Colleges. I was there for school and had 4 apartments with a variety of jobs. But I wouldn’t move out there without some idea of a job unless you have a large savings. And be aware that if you just move out there without a job lined up you will more than likely need to take a job that you won’t like to just get by and minimum wage in Utah is low. Maybe try looking online for people looking for roommates that would get you talking to people living out there.
