Should I look for my biological father I’ve never known?

Well, I am 28 years old and I just found out that the man whom I’ve called ‘dad’ for the past 28 years isn’t my biological father. My mom slipped up on some dates from when she got married and when I was born so I put 2 and 2 together. When I asked her about it, she was reluctant to tell me all the details. She said she was with this guy for 2 years and then they broke up. She later found out she was pregnant and when she told him he said he didn’t want anything to do with “us”. From the way she talks, it sounds like it was because he didn’t want to be with her. The dad I have now is great. He gave me anything I’ve ever needed and adopted me when I was 7 months old and I took his last name. I just want to see who this guy is and see if look anything like him. A part of me wants to tell him what a joke he is for giving up on my life despite his failed relationship with my mom. What should I do? Move on with my life the way it was or dig into the past?

You should try to find him if for no other reason than for medical history. Is it possible that he may not know of your existance? I know you said you mom told you he wanted nothing to do with you, but he has a side of the story too.
